Privacy notice

This notice describes data handled by the public HEER website. It does not cover what an independent clinic or external messaging platform may collect after you leave this site.
Data used for internal analytics
The site may record an approximate country code supplied by the network, device category, referral or campaign category, chosen language and section, page-view events, contact-link clicks, and random visit and event identifiers. These limited records help us understand whether the site works and which information is useful.
The analytics records do not store IP addresses, names, email addresses, health information, full page URLs or form text. The website has no appointment-booking or health-information form.
Session storage and retention
A random visit identifier, last activity time and referral category are kept in the browser’s sessionStorage to group activity in one tab. A new visit is created after 30 minutes of inactivity. This is not an advertising identifier.
Server-side analytics records are kept for up to 90 days. Records older than 90 days are removed when the next analytics event is recorded, so deletion is event-triggered rather than an exact scheduled deletion time.
Privacy signals
Internal analytics are not sent when the browser exposes Do Not Track (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC). Blocked storage or blocked network requests may also prevent or reduce measurement.
Service providers and Google Fonts
Hosting, security and database providers may process technical connection data needed to deliver and protect the site. The site currently loads Google Fonts from Google servers; that request can disclose connection information such as an IP address, browser details, date and referrer to Google under Google’s own privacy terms.
External contact channels and requests
If you follow a link to email, WhatsApp, KakaoTalk, a social network or another third party, that provider’s privacy terms apply. Do not send urgent or unnecessary sensitive medical information through an insecure channel.
